guitar building book

I'm looking at building a guitar, but I have no idea how. I probably want to make an electric first, and probably just buy the parts and assemble them and wire it myself. No shaping or anything just yet. So are there any books out there that would show me how to wire the guitar, and what glue to use, and what not? Really a big book on everything about building guitars would be great, but for right now just wiring and assembling instructions would be ok. Thanks!

You can ususally get instructions on wiring from the pickup website.

i'm actually going to build my own strat here in a month or so. I was thinking about trying to make it into a solid-body acoustic first. and if that didn't work just change it to an electric.
