all this damn negativity is almost making me not want to go. except that its 2 nights of dmb, with gov't mule, bela fleck, david gray etc.
with all the awesome music that will be there, is some dirt on your clothes and a line for the bus really that bad?

walk back, find a tube. it was not far and there are thousands of you, so there is no trouble in the rough areas.
Gervais on Rosa Parks "she was arrested but then that law was changed- but she didnt stop there, she started sitting in the seats saved for disabled people. unbelavable, she talked to the driver when the bus was in motion- did she have the correct change ready? - did she bollox!"

on one of the bands emails i just got, it talks about reserving spots on the ferry? can someone sort of give me an idea as to what i need to do here.
we are driving from Toronto, and staying at a hostel/hotel not far from the venue according to mapquest. we are planning on driving to the shows, not taking a bus. so do we just give'er? or should we book a spot on the ferry? does the ferry take cars across as well? or is it just people.
sorry if im asking a lot of stupid obvious questions, but im just trying to play it safe. thanks to anyone who can help me out!

you dont need a ferry to get onto randalls island with a car... they have these really cool things called bridges. anyway, i would ultimately suggest driving as its the most convenient form of transportation.
as far as the lawn is concerned, its pretty far back from the stage... last year my friends and i made it to the fence a little later in the show and we still couldnt see the stage behind all the seating... however the screens were nice to view unblocked by other fans. As far as the dusty/muddy factor is concerned its not that bad... if moshing were to take place id duck and cover but dmb isnt really the scene for that.
