Freshman guitars
I went into a guitar shop today and asked what the best quality guitar would be for my price range ( £250 - £300 ) he said a freshman.
Anyone have anythoughts on this? Are freshmans good guitars? If so which one's? I like the look of the FA400FBJ.

You know i love that Alverez dude, i wold love to have it. Just cant buy them over here, and not sure how difficult the process would be in getting one shipped?czech wrote:never heard of them and I wouldn't agree with that either.
If you pruchase a guitar form america would you get taxed harsh on it?
I would buy a takamine, alvarez, washburn, etc..

you could have an american friend buy one for you and ship it to you. I know it cost me $250.00 dollars to ship a Les Paul to New Zealand.Milligan wrote:You know i love that Alverez dude, i wold love to have it. In that price range, Alverez's seem to be very consistent in sound and construction. I would jump on musiciansfriend.com and check out what they have and go from there. I know how it is getting guitars overseas, I lived all over the place my whole life and it killed me to see some of the guitars that they thought were "good". Trust me, you will be alot happier taking a chance on something that will be unique over there and alot better then anything you can get. Plus if you don't like it I can preatty much guanrantee you can sell it over there and get your money back on it. Check out some online shops and find some that look good like czech suggested and go from there.Milligan wrote:You know i love that Alverez dude, i wold love to have it. And washburn economies are awesome, i hail them right next to the economy alvarez's.
Yeah, email guitar shops in the US and ask how much to ship, you can get a really good idea based on some of our reviews of what to get and what not to get.
and I have seen people go to a guitar shop and write a review on a specific guitar for some of our over sees friends who cant go to play them.
