I need help (compilation)

Unread post by Appfro » Thu May 25, 2006 9:17 pm

i'm trying to find instrumental versions of:
"the water is wide" by james taylor and
"fields of gold" by sting

for my wedding in september

if i can't find instrumental versions of them, then i'm going to have to learn them myself and make instrumental versions.

i need anything you guys can offer
i can do guitar
i would need bass and violin.

or maye even a string version of them.

can anyone help?

you can also help by finding good tabs for either. i can only find chord tabs, i'm going to need melody tabs.

Pete Huttlinger does feilds of gold on his naked pop cd. I know Ed Gerhard does a nice version of the water is wide, i could play it at one time. Check those out and see if you like them, I'll ask around and see if anyone knows of more.

awesome, thanks man. and i like the water is wide, but huttlinger's fields of gold is just a bit too fast. you don't happen to have a tab do you? i couldn't find one online. again, thanks

edit: actually, i just found a good tab and lesson to go w/ it for the eva cassidy version. i can learn it, slow it down, and lower the key a bit. should be fine. thanks again.

and if anyone wants the tab, go here and scroll down. http://www.guitarnoise.com/article.php?id=81
