I like the trumpet on happier sounding songs, i.e. Stay, Bayou. On deeper songs songs I dont know if it will work, but im not counting it out totally. Could be interesting on 41# with a little solo thrown in there and backing up Leroi

if he is doing the whole tour, im sure he will either compose parts within the context of the song, and possibly has played on some of the new stuff theyve been working on in the studio. i doubt the band would add him, if they didnt think he had something valuable to add.

I agree. Also on Live at red rocks DVD from this past summer ( i don't remember which song) they go back and forth and have a little duel at soloing and then afterwords they give each other a little fist pound.
