A New Tune

Unread post by HooKeD » Fri May 19, 2006 12:40 pm

Hey guys!

I added a new tune to my website, and I was hoping for some feedback. Any mixing comments, or anything else would be really appreciated. Head over to the music section of my website, it's called Unfinished but Sound. I wrote it when i made the decision to go to Berklee, I hope you like it.

The next week is going to be such a marathon of random sex that Jesus himself will be resurrected for the single act of flying through my window just to say "Dude, that's a lot of women you just did." -LICD

yeah the top link doesnt work, but the other stuff is great, keep it up. You are a very good song writer and i definitely see a mayer influence in your song construction ( a very good thing ).

I noticed you have the digidesign 002 factory, how do you like it? I am looking to seriously upgrade my setup and i want to start using pro tools so i have been considering that same interface.

Love to hear the new song, let us know when the link is up.
Do I listen to pop music because I'm miserable or am I miserable because I listen to pop music?

Fixed!

I love working with the 002. The controls are so intuitive, once you learn them. I've actually found that even though everything in pro tools is accessible via the 002, i'll still use the mouse and keyboard about the same amount. But it's so valuable to have a visual on the volume and panning on all the tracks, it's worth it. The preamps aren't the best, but they're definitely not sub-professional.

Damb, loved it. Levels sounded harsh but over all qual. is great. Your voice is very natural and enjoyable.
