Best DMB live gigs to date.

Unread post by the_drewster » Sat May 13, 2006 2:47 pm

If you had just the one chance to convince a group of judges that the Dave Matthews Band were one of the best live performers in music history, what recording or live gig would you play to them... and where can I find it?

This isn't a random question, I actually need it.

Many might disagree with me, but when i watch or listen to the central park concert i get chills. I gotta say thats definatlly my favorite and the best in my eyes.

Yeh, I have to agree with you there.

I can't use it though, it's copyrighted.

Thanks for agreeing. And a question for drewster, what are you trying to use this for?

most definately central park. the energy in that show is more than some bands put out their whole tour...or their whole career.

my favorite show that i have is 3-23-93. The first half dave plays alone. Many of the songs he plays alone are songs you would associate with the rest of the band. Then the band comes in. I dont know if I would use it to prove they are the best live band though. The sounds quality is good but not the best.

YES, that is exactlly what i have always said and some people are like "I like folsom field or red rocks". And i say that there has never been more energy from a band than from Dmb at Cp

It's for a site. http://www.davematthewsband.co.uk
No one knows who Dave Matthews is over here. Something he was clearly unhappy about last night, you know,

I need a bunch of gigs I can put up as examples for newbies.
