Ya know, I absolutely love this song. You carried the vocal well, not really pitchy at all, maybe the volume could go up a bit, 'cause it feels like they're kinda distant. Also, you might wanna lose the distorted electric rhythm. Keep the lead electric line, I'm always a fan of acoustic rhythm and electric lead, but the distorted rhythm sounds kinda outta place. Bass sounds nice, really fills out that bottom end. That's pretty much it. Love this song, not too bad.

thanks, the electirc rythym part was really just an idea to try and make it bigger and fuller for that chorus. i can see what you mean by it is out of place though. it also sounds strange because the acoustic part and the harmonic was on my acoustic right in front of the mic whereas the electric part was from my amp on the other side of the room.

If it were a full band, modernized version of the song, I would agree 100% on making it fuller and bigger during the chorus. It just sounds kinda thrown in there without a steady bass and drum line backing it up. I don't play any distorted electric in my church band for the same reason: not because it's church, but because my bassist isn't good enough to back it up. Most a pity, if only I could play 4 instruments at once.Dutch17 wrote:thanks, the electirc rythym part was really just an idea to try and make it bigger and fuller for that chorus. i can see what you mean by it is out of place though. it also sounds strange because the acoustic part and the harmonic was on my acoustic right in front of the mic whereas the electric part was from my amp on the other side of the room.

there ya go. the intro riff is down at the bottom. the harmonic is a 12th fret and 7th fret harmonic on your high e string
