Sounds like you're hitting your open low E string in it too much and it's kind of dominating the sound, I think anyway. Maybe something to think about.

i have a habit of playing stuff fast sometimes so that should help. my guitar is also really "bass-y", and with the shittry recorder i used it probably drowned out my higher strings. anyway thanks for the reviews, i'll put up everlong and hotel california today

Not bad overall, you might just want to be careful of what strings you're hitting with the pick on certain chords... especially on the end of the chorus. Remember, it's not always necessary to strum all of the strings each time you play a chord. Bling bling.
