My new B-Band pickup

Unread post by Trippin Hillbilly » Fri Apr 21, 2006 3:40 pm

I just got my Larrivee back from the shop. I had a B-Band A2 pickup system installed in it. It's basically a stereo pickup with a AST and UST which you can seperate to two outputs using a stereo cable and split to mono. So basically one preamp per pickup.
I'm diggin it so far.

Here's a clip which has not been EQ'd at all. All I did was pan one to the left and the other right. I figured some of you would like to hear it.
Apologies for the sloppy playing, I just did a quick one take.

here's me

and here's someone that actualy play guitar

That's just the pickup going directly to my Presonus Firepod. There's some noise in the background because of the crappy lead i'm using.

It would be Damien Rice's "I remember". Good tune, and the pickup sounds amazing.
