Yeah I don't see dave playing a fender acoustic either... Just don't think it would ever happenDrumsFoDaSoul wrote:elijah77jc wrote:a fender acoustic??Paco wrote:Pretty sure he's playing a Fender, my girlfriend has that guitar, I fucking hate it.
edit: ya, I think it's a Grand Dreadnaught, he doesn't play a lot during the song except for the jam...
seems doubtful

Then we're not talking about the same vid, there's this other video of Dave, Carter and Santana's band, they play love of my life with a bunch of dancers on stage during the jam. There's some compilation/davespeak before the song begins and there you see Dave acting all cool with his DM3MD, showing his "bus stop move", and when they start playing, suddenly Dave's standing there with this Fender. My guess is his Martin just broke down and the only spare acoustic was the Fender...
Wish I could make a screenshot of this, but I cant. But hey, lemme just upload the vid for y'all ok? I'll post a link somewhere 'round tomorrow...

Dave played a very blonde fender acoustic on A Supernatural Evening with Santana. It was all around the Supernatural album. Dave came out with a fender acoustic (you can tell by the headstock), but only played a few chords during the jam at the end, and Carter played drums. Don't think it was his.

He did play with a Yamaha. But anything Yamaha is crap unless its high end.

It doesn't look like carter is playing his drums either. I don't know too much about his set, but it doesn't look big enough to be his.
It is me or does Dave look totally uncomfortable up there without his taylor? Is there a reason why his guitar is turned down so low, even for the rare parts that he does play? I could barely hear it.
