I had 3-13-99 D&T forever, because I heard it was a kickass show..
I never really liked it because mine was so shitty of quality... I just found out last nite I downloaded some weird one with a shitty source that no none knew about..

Anyhow, I just downloaded the original one, and it's AWESOME!!!!!! It's got to be the best Daud i've ever heard..
Where can I download this awesome Original One?
The ants server probably has it...though I havent checked.

This is the best aud pull I've ever heard...supposedly Coluzzi (the taper) had his mic about three inches from the stack. Its pretty damn close to the quality of an official release. Get this show if you dont have it. Its worth owning.
Yes, Yes it is..

MAKE SURE you get colluzzi version 2. It's the redone version of the original..

So i guess I don't have the original.. But this one is better!
Alrighty, It's downloading. Have I got the right one though, the coluzzi rework?

They pull a Grateful Dead style thing, playing one song, then into another, then into another, then coming back and finishing the first song. It's a very sweet show, as you can obvisouly tell, especially with Popper on WWYS.

Fav gorge songs:

Crush(stefan's bass playing makes me have a gorge orgy.)
Two Step(Butch goes berserk on the piano)
Forget about the reasons and the treasons we are seeking
Forget about the notion that our emotions can be swept away, kept at bay
Forget about being guilty, we are innocent instead
For soon we will all find our lives swept away

Dude, I get the exact same sensation! I was listening to the Listener supported version with that long solo. My mom though I was listening to smooth jazz radio.

yeah, same exact thing with my mom. Though, my Mom loves the band .I love playing that on the drums. I love p[layin snare drum march things on the snare in rock or jazz setting. I think is sexy :) . I love that version more then any(Central Park was pretty bad ass as well) I love the last time through the Chorus where Dave is yelling "Celebration" I wanna cry when I here it ( I cry a lot dont I?) That CD is just overall awsome!

I hate all other full band versions of Two Step because of the drumming. I think it is cheesy and overpowers the mystical and thought provoking nature of the song. The studio version especially, and despite the lousy drumming and cruddy singing I can deal with the Red Rocks version because and only because of the timmy solo. But in the LS, not only is the drumming more low key and the singing much better quality, but the song as a whole is finally played the way it was meant to be played, with butch's pian saturating, but not overpowering the song. I get chills up my spine when I hear the way the piano is played during the chorus. I love that version and that whole show, even though it got mediocre reviews.
