D&T Tour

Unread post by Taylor2885 » Sun Apr 30, 2006 3:44 pm

So i was browsing through setlists on ants and I got to the D&T tours in like '96 and '99, etc., and realized that they came so close to my area, and the setlists are amazing, but I wasn't a fan yet, hence I wasn't there! I didn't get big into DMB until about 2000. It just kind of made me wish I had been a fan a little earlier and gone to some of those D&T shows, I've never been to one other than like five D&T songs in the beginning of a Dave and Friends concert at Penn State.

I really hope they do another D&T tour through the country. I'd love to have the chance to see them in concert.

yeah thats a shame,
however, even if you lived in the venue you would be hard pushed to get 99 tickets
Gervais on Rosa Parks "she was arrested but then that law was changed- but she didnt stop there, she started sitting in the seats saved for disabled people. unbelavable, she talked to the driver when the bus was in motion- did she have the correct change ready? - did she bollox!"

Please God tour D&T. And come to either Cox or the Sports Arena. I'd love to see ODH, and SR live.

it really was amazing. Dave was in a funky mood that night, that was the first night they were all on stage at the same time, i remember him commenting on that.

I was at that show. So Damn Lucky as an encore was amazing. I htought hearing the other songs such as Trouble were better left for the CD. If they tour again I wont be going. It was a cool, unique experience though.

Yeh, it's not something i would spend the 70+ dollars on again. But it definitely was a good experience. I enjoyed seeing Trey Anastatio (spelling?) even though I'm not a big phish fan. And of course Timmy left everyone in awe.

I Will NEVER go see Dave & Tim in a arena setting again. I saw them in performing atrs centers in 97' & 99' and the sound was amazing. Seeing them in 2003, both spring & fall was a horrible acoustic experience.

I can imagine. Just listening to the audience recordings, I know I would get so pissed at the douches at a D&T show.

3/28, 3/29 anyone? 3/28 is easily the best D&T aud recording of all time.

I would drive a fucking lifetime to see a D&T show come around here. They were within 25 miles of me in 03, but I didn't go for some reason.
