im sick of hearing about how great this album/show is. i have it, and its good dont get me wrong, but it isnt the most godly performance of music that has ever been or will ever be performed on this earth. stop sucking the collective d+t dick. you have the right to your opinion, unless its different from mine.

i was referring to LaLC and i was completely joking in saying yall were sucking dick and that you didnt have the right to an opinion different than mine. i didnt think i needed a sarcasm or joke notice because it was so extreme.Lbacker wrote:Are you referring to LaLC or Prism?? but seriously, how can i NOT appreciate this cd, when, if not for it, i probably would not have ever REALLY listened to and learned to play #41?

I thought that was at a 1996 show? I could be wrong.Trippin Hillbilly wrote:Yeah, l@lc is definately special. I prefer 1997-02-18 though.. (that's the one where dave shat his pants on the bus).

Back to the prism coffee house show ...
Very good show. It's cool to hear some of the songs in their early stages and with different lyrics (even though I think their obviously better now). But the only thing that I don't like is how soft and quiet dave is in his singing. Yeh it's nice and sweet and probably appropriate for the nice quiet little coffee house. But there's no UMPH behind his voice. He never puts anything behind it. I dunno, just a thought. I like when he gives a good strong yelling note in songs.

sendspace and yousendit won't let me send the prism coffee house show, i'll try again tomorrow. A great show for sure.
As far as "i am sam2" wrote, i believe we were talking about d&t performances, not the "greatest performance ever". I'm sure you'll have a great responce to this making us all feel like dipshits(people only learn from the best right?)
