Holla. I was surfin CollegeHumor.com today and found a link where you can take ANY MP3 on your computer and this site, http://www.myxertones.com/html/landing. ... 39AyCotfIR, will compile it and text message to ur found. Then you use your phones internet to downoad the song from the link the text messaged you. So you must have internet on your phone. I gonna do a bunch...It dosen't cost anything and you don't have to sign up..I think maybe becasue the link i gave above is from Collegehumor so if people get reffered from there its free, I dunno but it WORKS!!

just so that everyone knows, they give you one free ringtone and then antoher free ringtone when you activate an account... also you get 4 free ringtone credts if you send someone else an email refference.... so if anyone is going to activate and account please PM me your email address so i can get 4 free credits!! thanks!

other than that you have to buy credits, but its stillw ay worth it ebuacse you can use any song from your comp, and edit it to what part of the song you want... and its pretty cheap for credits...

i have no idea how billing works with my phone - i have verizon, will it cost a lot to get online with it and download? or do they just take minutes?

You can do the same thing at funformobile.com

They might not charge you, but if you dont have the internet on your phone plan, its probably going to cost a penny per kilobyte, which ends up being quite a lot if you do a whole song. I take little clips and edit them down with Adobe Audition then send them to me, and it still costs a bit.

so annoying. pretty much every other wireless carrier works except nextel.

If you happen to find yourself a data cable for Nextel phones, there are a couple of programs you can use to transfer clips of songs onto your phone. The intro to warehouse is my main ring, #40 is for my gf, etc. I have to check what programs they are, but it is possible. I have an i860, so I know it's good for more recent model phones.

Nextel users, you'll need a data cable for this. Go to this site and follow the instructions, it's really easy to do, and the quality is pretty decent
