when i get home today after classes I plan on learning black balloon by goo goo dolls. I think it would sound neato just solo acoustic guitar/singing with it. So I'll see how it goes...

I'm also going to start learning scales soon on my way to learning how to improv

Theirs a great classical style song by Ozzy's guitarist...dont worry its acoustic its called "Dee".......Great song to learn i reccomend it

I can't get Sugar Will down for the life of me. Those transitions are faster than my fingers cooperate sometimes.

absolutely dino - haven't worked on it as much because i have a shitload of stuff to do by the end of the semester, but yeah it doesn't really work as well or sound as good with a pick

Sugar Will. No pain, no gain. It still hurts like hell pretty much all the time, but I gotta work through that shit. That and Tripping Billies. I'm right there with TB. And I'm still trying to perfect that single string strum on the Stone Intro/Verse.

Also, I've been working on a lot of my own stuff, lately. It's still pretty weak and I have no lyrics, but I've got all sorts of ideas I've been working with, so it's fun as hell.
