Mexico! That whole album is fucking great.

I once wrote a fan letter to Cake during the era of "The Distance" and I actually received a hand written note back. I asked where the name Cake came from and what it meant.

The reply was:

Guitar Man, Symphony in C, Love You Madly are some of my favs...

Their I Will Survive cover is also pretty good, and it has a sweet funk bassline too.

Cake is fucking awesome. I really like Friend Is a Four Letter Word, Wheels, Nugget, You Turn The Screws etc...

i like cake, but i have to be in the right mood to listen to them

Comfort Eagle is great, as is Fashion Nugget. Its been a while since ive listened to them though
