Seems very solid and very nice to me!
Lyrics are great too!

You're voice is pretty cool.

Good job man!

Random movie quote to make you seem hip and "with it": As long as there's, you know, sex and drugs, I can do without the rock and roll.

Youre voice is improving everyday and this is by far your best vocal performance. What kind of mic did you get. Im going to guess an SM58 because i hear a bass roll off.

It sounds good quality wise but what are you using for moniters? Do you have a subwoofer because there is a ton of bass in this that i had to EQ out in winamp. Bass notes in both the guitar and your voice drown out everything else in the mix. I would either rerecord or just use the EQ in your program to cut some lows.

Just a tip: a lot of Mics greatly increase the bass when you get closer than an inch from them so keep that in mind.

Overall i like the song a lot, and you should post the lyrics. the chorus is especially good

Keep it up man
Do I listen to pop music because I'm miserable or am I miserable because I listen to pop music?

thanks

the mic is an mxl 990. 70 bucks on musicians friend, and its got a great retro look.

well i recorded in a stereo track and boosted the bass on one side for the guitar and the other for the vocals, i thought it made it sound fuller, but that may have been a mistake.

thanks for the feedback, i work on my voice everyday.

I've used that mic before, not too bad for 70 bucks. If you want a fuller sound on the guitar boost the mid, but not the bass. Also, with that mic make sure youre at least 8 inches away if not more.

You got it man, you got the desire, the lyrical content, your voice isn't bad at all. It's just one of those things man, practice and sing out, don't be shy. NEVER QUIT!

Sounds real good bro. Guitar was solid, I dug the lyrics. Vocals sounded real nice. I can tell a considerable difference in your latest song compared to your other ones. What exercises have you been doing? Ive been trying to work on my voice as well. But awesome man, keep it up

if you do something with your heart in it, if you do something as hard as you can, if it's pure and real then nobody can tell you you're doing something wrong
