Ok. I own several DMB tab and sheet music books, and you are right, the tabs here are to a degree different, but they are tried and tested and there is little room to argue the accuracy. This is because Jared tabs out what Dave plays live, and not the studio versions of the song which often features multiple guitars, layering, etc. Dave does not play every song the same as it sounds on the album. Part of what makes Dave's music so rich is that there is variety, and it is reflected in the tabs that are posted here. So much of what makes a live song what it is are the real live factors like emotion, atmosphere, etc. None of that is taken into account in the studio versions.
I think that if you get to know this site a little you will see where we are coming from. And if you have something to contribute - suggestions, techiques - please feel free to share them.
Thanks,
Josh

Re: Tablature on this Website
Are you trying to tell everyone of us, that you've been playing guitar for 13 years, but you don't have any recording equipment ? HAHATLankfordAU wrote:"Third", i'm not prepared to deal with copyright infringement due to electronic duplication of the tablatures, but i'll gladly play/record the correct tabs for you if you would be so kind as to mail me a recording device (7113 Wyngrove Dr. Montgomery, AL 36117).

PS It must require some talent to have played guitar for 13 years, but just turned 12 a week ago

He never said which songs were wrong. Im curious as to see which ones he thinks are wrong. I have never encountered a completely wrong tab on this site. Just some that you need to play around with to get the correct rhythm.
This guy is an idiot. He hasnt even come back in three pages to defend his claim.
