Capo Question
Capo Question
I have a trigger capo that has rubber padding to protect the neck. It hasn't done anything to the guitars I have now, but I have a question. My Taylor 714 comes in on Friday. Should I be worried to use it on my new guitar? I'm p[robably just thinking too much.

no you shouldnt be worried, a shubb is better, but a keyser will work just fine, its def the most common among amaterus and pros alike

If you leave it on for long periods of time you do. But as long as you take if off after playing a song or a number of songs it should be fine no matter what capo you have. But shubb is much better.praisedave wrote:you wont hurt the neck, not even closeTaylor614 wrote:Thanks for the help guys. the finish? how the hell are you gonna hurt the finish? it can handle your dirty hands going up and down for hours a day, causing friction, but not a piece of rubber DESIGNED for the neck just sitting there?Andre_GT7 wrote:The finishpraisedave wrote:you can hurt the strings and if left on for a week or so maybe the frets, but the neck? in what way?guitardmb wrote:If you leave it on for long periods of time you do.
