What's going on?
noob here. I've had my guitar for 7 months and i took it into the shop to get the neck adjusted and to change the strings (first time). I got the Elixir Lights put on. My guitar is a p.o.s. Fender, all laminate. Anyways with the stock strings it sounded alright, but with the new strings on it sounds like im playing an entirely plastic instrument. Its a disgusting sound. does anyone know what caused this change and if its related to the neck being adjusted? (the guy mentioned he was going to raise the bridge to get rid of some buzzing ??,if this helps)
it has nothing to do with the setup or strings, the elixirs merely exposed your shitty fender for what it is... a shitty fender.
sorry
