Exactly. That's why I have zero expectations for this album. But hopefully I will be surprised and it will be better than Stand Up was.GSR wrote:Fonzie is awesome... but that article felt like it could have been from the Stand Up sessions.
It feels like the same thing is happening... the stand up website showed the band having a great time and being so excited, just like Stefan's site does. But look how Stand Up turned out.

yeah, bad news, just like SU they will create 12 songs within the next couple weeks, on sale late may /my predictionColdchillin23222 wrote:Aren't they on tour in less than two months? How long does it normally take to finish an album?
Like someone said, my hopes are down, I am fully expecting another SU, only where to go is up. God I hope they do

Listening to people gripe about how things aren't like the old days is getting old. If the band is enjoying what they are doing, let them be already.
I happen to like their new music. I also love their old stuff too, but let's face it, I can only hear Warehouse and Nancies but so many times before I'm ready to move onto something else.
I am so tired of people complaining about the new sound. Yes it is different, but without change things (including DMB) go stagnant. I'd rather hear a group of new tunes with energy and excitement then the same setlists from the 90's over and over and over.

its a "message" board, if you dont like reading it, dont read the message boards. if this album is great, you will read stellar reviews and people will praise the band.dmb_josh wrote:Listening to people gripe about how things aren't like the old days is getting old.
