hey everybody, this is something i started on yesterday. its pretty rough (i recorded it with my digital camera, lol), but id like to get some opinions on it thus far (though its just an intro and a verse). im sure i can predict what everyone will say about the background vocals, but im a metalhead at heart and thought it was a little different/original, so oh well. thanks

I liked the being with the "oooooooooooooohhhhhhhh". sounded like battle cries
. it did sound very cool! You cannot notice that it was recorded on a camera, it sounded like it was very high quality! Nice. I am not really into that kind of music too much, but this is a pretty cool song. I say finish it!

yeah, the beginning is my favorite part as well. i didnt really expect anyone to comment being the style is so different from the bands that people talk about on here, so thanks for the feedback and checking it out. im not 100% on the screams, but like i said, im a metal head at heart so i figured what the hell, its original if nothing else.

- Random movie quote to make you seem hip and "with it": As long as there's, you know, sex and drugs, I can do without the rock and roll.
I like it, it is rough quality but i like the theatric quality it has. The background vocals are cool and the main vocals are good too. People give metal a hard time because of a lack of melody but if you keep it how it is, i think youre in good shape. There is a tad too much echo or reverb on the main vocal and it gets muddied up at times.
Stick with it and try to improve the quality of the recording. I'd love to hear it again reworked a little.
Also, post the lyrics!

Do I listen to pop music because I'm miserable or am I miserable because I listen to pop music?

"If life was up to you, we'd breath fire, and pray for the moon. But fortunately, the choirs sing, as we fly above the trees."
im sure most of you will get this, but my wife wasnt too clear on it so basically im just saying if life was up to a certain person it would be hell on earth so to speak, but fortunately its not and things are still "heavenly" or perfect. im not a religious person by any means, but 75% of my lyrics always have that vibe to them for some reason. oh well, go with what works i guess.
