if that works, can someone (Shane) tell me what guitar this is??? I am pretty sure its a Taylor because of the pickguard and bridge shape... But I am not sure what model it is... It's 311's guitarist Tim Mahoney btw..

cant be positive its an 810 but it looks to have a ebony headstock... unless its just bad lighting. its a taylor though.

how would YOU know its a Taylor?
And Tim's stuff is pretty damn hard to play compared to Dave's stuff. He does some crazy stuff with his pedals... I think I like him more than mike einziger, althougth they both rock the hizzouse...
I can't wait to see Mahoney wail away on Nov. 23!!!!

I would place my bet on an 810...
becuase, first...can't ba a...
910...has a pickgaurd
710...not cedar top
510...not mahogany
610...maybe, but I doubt it...looks like gold hardware...

no "dot" inlay...looks like an 8's pattern (like my 814)...

so all things being concidered...I say it is an 810e

My god, you're a huge, huge, huge fan of a mediocre, hackneyed, repetitive band.

Hey, if ya dig their sound, more power to ya bro.

fire. fyi

Any Taylor can be ordered with a regular pickguard, a clear pickguard or no pickguard. Also any guitar in the 5 series or up can be ordered with either sitka spruce, englemann spruce, or western red cedar (at no extra charge). The 7 series actually come with either englemann or cedar but sitka can be ordered. And the 6 series do have gold hardware. I think the giveaway that this is an 810 is the bound fretboard and headstock along with the inlays (even though they aren't real clear).
