This is an overall shot of the studio. It's preatty quiet in ther for the most part but we just got 2 isolation booths, one primarily for the drums, so we are preatty much set now.

This is from inside the control room. We use a Mac G5 to record on, everything from inside the studio goes into that Midas board which then goes into a digi design 002rack.

The Midas board (A Midas Venice, one of the best boards I have ever heard...)

The rack with all of the important crap

There's the 002 rack.

We have this Apogee Rosetta 800 AD/DA converter that everything runs through before going to the digi002rack, it makes stuff sound a hell fo alot better then just running the board strait to the 002...

Kick ass monitors, this is one of a pair of Focus Audio FS788's. They retail for like $4500 and are excelent...

Blue Circle BC26 power amplifier, it's what we have the monitors hooked up to. This things is awesome.

The isolation booth i use to do guitar and vocals.

I decided to set up a decca tree to record my guitar today. Basically what that means is that you have one mic recording strait on the source and the other 2 faced to the sides to pick up the ambiance, sounds preatty good. The mic in the middle is a Rode NTK tube mic, the ambiance mic's on the sides are a stereo pair of Neumann KM184's.

I used a Neumann TLM-103 for vocals, one of the best.

You can go to that link and see a video i did today, it's me playing one of my songs, i took the audio I recorded on protools and synced it up with the video so you could hear how that decca tree sounds on the guitar, it came out preatty good in my opinion.
edit- The sounds on that website did not sound ass good to me (must be something with it being on the web...) so here is an mp3 of that song in the video...
