Bass Effect Pedal Help/Advice

So my band and i are starting to play out quite often and i have become very comfortable with my bass skills. because of this i really would like to add some pedals to my set up.. right now i'm just using my bass and amp, which works great but there are a couple things i would like to go for..

first of all, my influences are Mike Gordon & Stefan...

i really dont know much at all about any pedals/effects so i'm looking for you guys to help me out with some advice.. here is a list of pedals that i can think of that i believe are much needed and i could use effectively...


Compressor
Octave Pedal
Sustain
Chorus
Reverb

i believe thats it.. now what do you guys think of these? what brands would you recommend? all that kind of good stuff..

the bassist I play with sometimes uses a Boss CEB3 for bass chorus and says he loves it. Other than that, I haven't got a clue.

not as much as in a band, but for like solo-ing type stuff get a loop station.

All I use is an envelope filter. DOD makes it.
