1. App/Fatjack because I liked the crazy slide solo and the back up vocals.. (the opposite of what roastbeef said, ha)
2. Firedancer
3. Roastbeef
Bedurnburn and Geekmug should have done one together.. Geek on guitar and Bedurnburn singing.. that'd probably get you in the top 3.. or at least my top 3

Some examples:Appsoldier wrote:Roast...thanks for the imput but im not sure i understand what you mean by overpronounce....could you elaberate?
"Anything too" at 0:47
"your feet" at 1:12
"fill our souls up" at 1:51
"adore you" at 4:12
It's pretty subtle, but it seems like you were trying to pronounce every word perfectly. It's more obvious on words that end in "rrr" sounds, e.g. "your". Granted, I'm being pretty picky here, and that's cuz there is very little to criticize actually. You do have a great voice and I REALLY like how you sing the "on the ground" parts in the choruses. Probably the other suggestion overall is to loosen up a little bit and maybe wail out on a few parts. Your voice is soothing, but it would be nice to hear more accentuations here and there if you know what I mean...
Ha. Ya. Me too...Appsoldier wrote:i was in standard too...i don't know it in Drop D. i just kinda made up some of my own chords.
I don't go out of my way to do things like dave.. but in this case, I think it is much easier to play in drop-D.. and the song lends itself to having that low-D on the bottom, anyways.
And, thanks for the compliments on my guitar playing guys.. I probably could have sung it better, but I was going for one-take recording.. sorry if I hurt your ears.

no prob. you should have just played and ad libbed the melody on the guitar instead of singing, would've sounded coolergeekmug wrote:I don't go out of my way to do things like dave.. but in this case, I think it is much easier to play in drop-D.. and the song lends itself to having that low-D on the bottom, anyways.
