Someone should learn to play the harmonica to Dave's songs..

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

If I played the harmonica, and had a neck thing for it, I would be walking around playing Dylan all the time, lol. I would start sining in my Dylan voice, and keep on walking and playing.

I play a little bit, and I have a 'neck thing' and it's pretty fun to do. I mostly do Neil Young stuff, but Dylan is the man too, I just haven't learned anything of his. Yea, I'm going to start ripping up Dave's stuff with the harp. Yippee kie yay.

I tried to learn the harmonica, but I am unfortunately physically unable to do so. :( Can't whistle either.

i played for a little while, but then i forgot it all. but they are fun...i love going to live shows and someone's playing a harmonica through a distortion pedal so it sounds exactly like an electric.

at least you can tune all other instruments too it. it's not like the guitar where it can be in tune w/ itself but be completely out of tune

A Dave Matthews Band cover band, aptly named "Dave Matthews Cover Band", once had a harmonica player in place of the saxophone. Its one of those things that seemed like a good idea at the time but when he took the sax solo on #41 it made my ears bleed. Maybe he just wasn't a good harmonica player but he's been replaced by a saxophone now.

A friend of mine I used to hit open mic nights with played the keyboard and the harmonica...he did a SICK version of Piano Man. It just wanted to make you grab the closest beer and sing along.
