Sitting, Waiting, Wishing

Unread post by coyoteguy » Sat Mar 11, 2006 11:01 pm

I can play this song, but for the verses, I use bar chords. There is another way to play it by using open chords. Does anyone know how to play this song this way? BTW, it's by Jack Johnson. Thanks

Im dont know how to play the song, but I would assume that the open chords would be the same as the barre chords from the way you play it. Like the chord 577555 is an Am which is the same as x0221x. Hope that helps

Just to let you know I am pretty sure Jack Johnson plays the barre chords. So using open chords will make it sound a just a little different.

Only for the Em. The second half of the chorus is just the first chord in the verse.

have you seen a video of this or are you just guessing? cuz to me it sounds like an open Am
For us living any other ways was nuts. with all the goodie-goodies working shitty jobs for bum pay checks, took the subway work and worried about their bills were dead. they were suckers, they had no balls. if we wanted something we just took it, and if anybody complained twice they got hit so hard believe me they never complained again

I suppose maybe it is an open Am, but even then those are the only two open chords he uses. The rest are power chords.
