it's xoosh's avatar... winston started a movement to make this forum "one big F****** homogenized, mindless web of vacuous discourse" and the first step was to make everyone's avatar a picture of xoosh's avatar...Onebadmofo wrote:OH and who's freakin picture is that next to xoosh's name and dmbfanjason's name

personally i think the best value guitar manufacturer is the not well known godin. i have an lgx and its the perfect guitar. has 2 seymour duncan humbuckers and an acoustic bridge, you can switch between them or play both for a blend. i got it for about $1000, but maybe you can find it used for cheap. thats if you want versatility or however you spell it. if you want acoustic only, theres no contest. taylor is the best sounding guitar.. if i didnt really need an electric i wouldve bought a taylor

Taylor
If you have the dough to cough up, I'd recommend a Taylor over any other acoustic guitar out there, with Martin running a close 2nd depending on the action and tone you prefer. I have a Taylor 714ce. It's amazing. If you can get one, do it. I saw plenty of 2000, 1999, etc models on Ebay for dirtcheap.
