Damien Rice Cover here

Unread post by captainburrito » Wed Mar 01, 2006 4:18 am

Hey everybody, I am back. I just got done with a whirlwind cover of "Volcano" by Damien Rice with a couple of friends (I know, who hasn't done a cover of this?). My friend Danielle plays violin and sings Lisa's part, and I sing Damien's part. This is the first time I have ever recorded myself singing and it is totally embarassing, but I figured I would give it a shot. Here is the link to my myspace page:

This is only probably the third time we played this song together, so it is kind of rough, but I would really appreciate some feedback. Thanks a lot.

Violin was fantastic. Don't be embarassed about posting your singing voice; I thought it was really good. I was pleasantly surprised (considering you were embarassed to post it). You put a lot into it and I really admire that. Great rhythm on the guitar and your friend Danielle does a fine job doing Lisa's part. All in all a fantastic cover.

Be excellent to one another.
