Dave Matthews Band Returns to Randall's Island, NY in August

DMB is looking forward to returning to New York City on Saturday, August 5th and Sunday, August 6th. This year's event at Randall's Island is sure to be even better than 2005. Bela Fleck and the Flecktones will be performing both evenings on the main stage and Gov't Mule will be performing on the main stage on Saturday evening. Many more artists to be announced as soon as they are confirmed. Musical performances on two stages will begin early afternoon and continue into the evening. A variety of food and beverage stands will be on-site serving traditional and non-traditional fare throughout each day. Stay tuned, we will be sending out Randall's Island updates as the event develops!

Ticketing, Parking and Public Transportation.
The venue will be set up with both reserved seats and general admission field. The second stage will be located at the rear of the general admission area. Limited parking spaces are available at the venue at no charge on a first-come first serve basis. Tailgating will not be permitted in Randall's Island parking lots. You are encouraged to take public transportation to get to the venue. Detailed public transportation information will be posted in the Warehouse ticketing section once confirmed.

Randall's Island VIP Package and Premier Parking
The Randall's Island VIP package is available for $250.00 per person and includes the price of your reserved seat ticket in a prime location near the front of the main stage. In addition, you will receive a VIP pass which includes access to an exclusive party area, food and drinks served all day and separate restrooms. A special Premier Parking section for VIP Pass holders only, convenient to the venue's main entrance, is also available for an additional fee of $25.00.

Randall's Island Warehouse Ticket Request Limits
There is a limit of four (4) tickets per request in all price categories.

Warehouse Premier Parking, Preferred Lawn, Gorge Camping Tickets and Hotel Tickets

We will be offering Warehouse Premier Parking tickets again this year for most venues. Warehouse Premier Parking tickets may be requested by all persons who request concert tickets for the applicable show. A premier parking space at will be held at the head of the parking lot close to the front gate until the DMB show starts. For more information regarding parking tickets, please visit the Ticketing Section of the Warehouse website.

Warehouse Preferred Lawn
The Warehouse will be offering the popular Warehouse Preferred Lawn area again at many of the 2006 Dave Matthews Band's amphitheater shows. A limited number of members will be selected to gain access to this area.
A special roped-off section, generally located in a central area of the lawn, will be restricted to Warehouse members holding special Warehouse Preferred Lawn tickets, until intermission. Warehouse Preferred Lawn ticket holders will be able to secure a nice vantage point from which to watch the show and a greater opportunity to interact with other Warehouse members.

Gorge Amphitheatre Camping
The Warehouse will be offering camping tickets for the Gorge Amphitheatre shows. New this year, there will be single day camping tickets for each of the Gorge dates as well as a 3-day discounted non-refundable tickets. Camping tickets are good for one car, no in/out.

Members may place requests for Gorge camping tickets at the same time that requests are made for tickets to the Gorge. As an added convenience for Warehouse members, the camping ticket will print and ship with confirmed Warehouse ticket orders for the Gorge Amphitheatre. For complete information regarding the camping tickets, please visit the Ticketing section of the Warehouse website.

Gorge Hotel Room Offering
As a special opportunity for members, we are pleased to offer a chance to request a hotel room through the Warehouse.

We have reserved a limited number of rooms at the Best Western Lake Inn, Moses Lake, the closest available full-service hotel to the Gorge Amphitheatre. We will be offering a three-night package for Friday, September 1st, Saturday, September 2nd and Sunday, September 3rd. The hotel options will be offered as Series 7-2006. The three night package for a double occupancy room with 1 Queen bed will be offered for the price of $375.00 inclusive of taxes and fees, and the three night package for a quadruple occupancy room with 2 Queen beds will be offered for $435.00 inclusive of taxes and fees. I'm the same way with Alpine. I'm sure I'll at least go to the saturday show. I'll probably take that monday off work if I dont already have it, just to get the 4-day weekend.
