Castellar, when did he say he was hoping to "see the money again from buying american?" Whats wrong with wanting an american made guitar? Since when is it a bad thing to want something american made? Most people will agree that North American guitars are superior quality to guitars overseas, which is why they sell for more...and will re-sell for more. If I was looking for electonics and asked for suggestions on the best Japanese made DVD player would you be upset about that too? Or is that okay because I was looking for the best in Japan and not America?
In my opinion, your best bet is probably the martin. that others have mentioned. I play both a taylor and a larrivee and both are great guitars. The taylor was almost twice the price, but is a better guitar than the larrivee. Don't get me wrong, the Larrivee is a great guitar and I spent just under $1K for it. If you didn't care if it came from Canada, then I would suggest Larrivee over Martin...but that is only personal preference, many will suggest the exact opposite. You're best bet is to go out and figure out which sounds the best to you and which is the most playable.
Ignore people like Castellar who have no input rather than to bash people and America despite the fact that they live here. It seems to be popular now for Americans to put down Americans for being patriotic or for wanting to support America.

First off, i never mentioned anything about quality. He said he like to see his money stay here, and i was stating that he wont see the money stay here or go anywhere else. i just think its stupid to rule any particular item out based only on where its made Thats all i said and all i meant so you can end the temper tantrum, assclownkdz111 wrote:I just think things made in America tend to be higher quality.
