What do I want for Christmas for my guitar, besides an amp?

i love my dd-6. i have an overdrive which is cool to use w/ the acoustic. those are the only ones i have though

I want a warwick dolphin sn... desperately. it's uber expensive though, specially for being my second bass. i haven't talked to my dad about it yet though, cos he usually gives me advice on big purchases like that. but i figure, i've played my first bass to death, almost everyday for the past year, and i feel that my commitment to playing is really strong. according to the author of "bass guitar for dummies" (excellent book, highly recommended, don't know about the guitar version): "if you feel that you're commitment level's strong, then buy a bass that will last through your entire playing career." it has a whole section on buying a new bass, very informative. he says that continuously buying mediocre instruments is not cost effective, since everytime you trade it in, you lose money. good stuff to know. i want my dolphin.... :(
