I like it very much sounds great the way it is. So if its a rough version of it then cant wait to hear the finished one.

Whit, nice cover. I had to google it to find out who it was by, so it's obvious I've never heard the song before. Did you record the guitar and the vocals at the same (apart from the backup vocals, of course) ? I'd like to hear you belt out the vocals a little more, as it seemed like a couple of the notes sounded a little flat when it sounded like you were holding back a bit.
Other than that, it sounds great, especially for a rough cut.

all three were separate tracks. yes, agree with you...there were actually a coupe of times i came to the end of my breath, so i couldn't finish the note and i ended up going flat

it's something that i noticed and i definitely need to fix it. thanks though

Whit - your voice has gotten so much better than one year ago or so. I'm really impressed. I know you're a fan of Tristan Prettyman, so I'm pretty sure you'll be happy to hear that at times I think you sound just like her, yet you definitely have your own style. Great rhythm, really impressed with the guitar as well. I think I'd enjoy the song a little bit more without the backing vocals coming in around 3:00. I think they come in a bit too late. And a small dose of constructive criticism: like I said, I think your voice has come a long way and sounds great, but could be even better with a little more expression.
-Brian
Be excellent to one another.
