I dig the guitar riff and Leroi's jam at the end, but the song sucks. I just can't get into it.

when i first heard it i thought it was pretty average, now i really really like it

its amazing what happens when songs are road tested, and made outside of the studio, when they are rushed

some good lyrics. from 7.13.04

Cigarettes, and red wine. So spend all my time with you, and something gone of myself. I wonder if you knew;

Sugar will poison, sugar will kill you, too much of a good thing, maybe not so sweet.

Here I came stumbling in, caught you whispering to a friend, when you caught my eye you stopped and pretended not to see me, I don’t know, maybe I’m a little bit crazy, but still I handle things myself.

It was my favorite of the new songs that tour, and it still is.

i loved sugar will live, when they had the bluish purplish things going across the screen. that was cool

Also I don't think it was really a crowd killer at the shows I went to. When I looked around I saw a lot of people dancing and really getting into the music. Given it's a low key song, I think many of the SU songs killed the energy much more than sugar will, at least you can move around during SW.
