Closest hotel's to each venue...

Hey, could people that have been to various venues to see shows please let me know the closest and best facilities to stay in for the upcoming summer tour? I'm doing this as research and also as a way to plan trips for the summer before I go off to college thanks

The tour has not even been made public yet. Nobody knows where they are playing, with the exception of the Gorge on Sept. 1st thru 3rd.

There are hotels within 2 miles of Tweeter Center in Chicago. There's usually a show there.

It is posted on the Wildhorse Campground website. Plus the Best Western in Moses Lake (where the road crew always stays at) has that entire weekend blocked out for reservations.....the same thing happened last year (rooms being blocked out way in advance).

EDIT: I just checked the Wildhorse Campground website and they have taken the September dates down, but are still selling campsites for the show.
A bunch of us have already reserved about 12 or so sites over at the campsites in Vantage so I'm hoping the Sept. dates are good.

The thing is, I saw the same thing posted about a long weekend in june blocked out as well, which means that the concerts could be then. It's just a gamble i think.

Calling the chamber of commerce of any given area is a good bet for hotels, camp sites, etc. They're usually pretty helpful as well.

June is way too early for the Gorge. I would be very surprised if they played there that early in the summer.

It could start the tour as it has in years past, they change up the beginning/ends every two or so years of summer tours to give some variety.
