So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

i just want everybody to know. if you disagree with any of the tabs on this site, let me know. i'll tab out the song you want and you can reply and let me know what you think. this site is a really great site, especially for dave fans, and the tabs are great, but i disagree with some of them. but then again i've learned some stuff i didn't know by using this site. jkanter keep up the great work. but i want to help as much as i can.

I don't "agree" with every note of every tab either but these are the best Dave tabs on the net, in my opinion. That being said, it seems when I learn a song and feel confident about it that it's how Dave plays it - when I see him play it on video, it looks different so I'm probably wronger ( :) ) than I really am. that made no sense but I ain't no Grammer expert

peace,
Ken

I just meant that sometimes when I think I have a Dave song down, I see him playing on video and it looks different. Sorry for the brutalness of my typing. :)

The reason you see him playing songs differently is because the way his chord progressions work. He writes the way he does because, as we all know, dmb is a jam band. A 5 minute song can easily turn into a 15 minute song. He can play straight into all those cool segues because those chords are built for rythm and progression change on the run(while playing). Dave changes the way he plays almost as much as he changes his lyrics. Just my opinion, but his intent is just to jam.

The contribute section is coming soon ... I promise.

I've been swamped with schoolwork (3 tests, 3 papers, and 2 quizzes in 2 1/2 weeks) and now I'm sick. :(

As soon as I can do some final coding on it, it'll be up.
