Well, thanks bro, that means a lot. You should hear me after I've warmed up my voice all day. That high G in #41 is nothin' after I've been singing and talking all day.

I've done it before, like, 3 years ago. Full band, my brother played drums and I played 2 guitar parts, bass, sax, and I sang. Again, it was 3 years ago, so you'll be able to tell how much I've progressed since then, and the mix wasn't that great, the kids running the console in the studio were part of a class, my brother and I were there as a favor to one of the engineers. Enjoy.

your Iris might be the best recording on there (out of Say Goodbye, Iris, and Outside) -- although Say Goodbye is very good as well.

Nice job man.

Can't say it enough . . . thanks guys. I'm gonna re-record everything eventually, it all still needs work, but again, thanks to all. I've got a few originals I'm working on too, full band renditions, I'll have them to you soon.

Your voice on Iris is stunning. Wow.
Did you use the original, slightly weird "d"-tuning?
I did a search for a decent tab and found this one:

Or do you have a better one?

lol. I didn't actually know that it was in a weird tuning 'till someone else mentioned it. I tried it, and I hated it. It's just basically open chords for the verses (D, Em, G), and think Grey Street chords for that chorus, that's it, I just picked it out by ear. Good luck.

EDIT: Thanks for the compliment on my voice, by the way.

Ya know, maybe I shouldn't post my recordings on here, you guys are just too much. Really, I appreciate it guys, truly I do. The fact that bunch of fellow musicians and music appreciators enjoy my work is enough for me. I'll keep 'em comin' as often as I can.
