Wish You Were Here
That's right folks. The greatest duet song in the world. And we're not talking Incubus either. We're talking Pink Freaking Floyd!!! I'm on rhythm, my buddy is on lead and vocals. tell us what you think. oh and its on angelsuck...i mean angelfire, so if it's down when you try it, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE (shameless beg) come back and listen. if you listen please give us response, good or bad. we want feedback. so here's to the greats, hope we did them justice.

actually it was a mic on the amp. but i did get the plug today, so now i gotta try it out.Roastbeef wrote:Really, really good. You need a 12 string though.
Seriously, you've got the guitar sounding really good. Looks you were able to record direct from the pickup, or was that miked? Either way, sounded great.
Well done!

the rhythm guitar sounded real good on this one apps, the only real problem i had with it was the lead guitar, it was a little too loud when it was there, and there were a few mistakes (mostly bending to the wrong pitch). the quality of the lead guitar was rather bland too, just didn't seem interesting even though you played it correctly for most of the time.
the vocals on this one were excellent, you did very well throughout the recording and the backup vocals towards the end were a nice touch
overall, i would say that this was your best recording so far. an excellent song choice and and good execution.
i give it an 8/10
