List all of your posted recordings

Unread post by GreedylilPig » Wed Jan 18, 2006 6:00 pm

I thought this might be interesting. List all the songs you've recorded and posted in the Recording & Critiquing forum. I think it'll be pretty cool to see what everyone has done (songs we remember, others we never knew he or she did), and maybe reflect on your own work.

Personally, I didn't realize I've done so much.

You should repost your Blackbird cover, I never got a chance to listen to that one.

No problem. Here it is: http://plaza.ufl.edu/bbatson/Brian%20Ba ... ckbird.mp3
I was just really getting serious about bettering my fingerpicking when I posted this song, so the guitar is a little rusty.

I think I posted one sort of crappy funky instrumental a while ago. That's all I know of. I wish I could sing better; my voice embarrasses me and keeps me from finishing a lot of what I start.

I'd like to hear that, Slimer [the funky instrumental]. I'd also like to hear you sing. You probably have more potential than you realize, but won't know it until you work through those projects you don't finish.

Pat,
just listened to your 34. Good job. I usually really like the sax in the end, but you covered it well even without it.

Pat, I just relistened to 'Solitude.' I loved it then, forgot what it was like, and adore it now. You're awesome.

Thanks. How long ago did you post this? I am always sure to check out the recordings of members who have been around a while but never post their work. It may be my speakers, but I think the rhythm guitar could be a lot crisper. Good job on the lead. Not overdone, just right. Your cousin's vocals are great, too. All around great cover. What kind of guitar are you playing?
