I play the verse like this 10-8-12, 8-10-12, 6-8-x-7, 10-8-12

It gives a bit fuller sound I think.
Dunno if Dave plays it like this or if it's wrong. I just like it that way.

Hey, this is a new guy on the boards, let's make him feel welcomed. I talked with him right after he made the post. We worked it out, and it was just a silly mistake, the tab is right, it was just a fingering error. Anyways, again, welcome to the boards, Jack :) .

That's perfectly fine. However, there is certainly a more effective and less abrasive way to address a possible error.
