i'm not great with times, is 3/4 slower than 6/8 or what? (all i know is like top number = beats per measure and bottom is like counts to one beat or something)
I can't believe that we would lie in our graves,
dreaming of things we might have been.

you know, im not good at it at all either, but its top is beats per measure, and bottom what note gets the beat. ONE two three ONE two three ONE two three. Proudest Monkey is in 3/4

the top number tells you how many beats in a measure, the bottom number tells you what kind of beats they are. so in a 3/4 timing, there are 3 quarter notes in a measure (the 4 means quarter notes). in 6/8 timing, there are 6 eighth notes in a measure (the 8 means eighth notes).

11/8 rules all!

so fatjack said its in 6/8. the real one is in 4/4. for some reason i thought the original was in 6/8 and that's why the title is the way it is. it was going to be clever :D so really, it should read stay....in 4/4.
