HD-35 v. 810 (no electronics on either)

Unread post by sticksANDstrings » Mon Oct 06, 2003 10:33 pm

This is simple. Just pick one and explain why you like it. I've spent a lot of time and effort narrowing down my choices and have arrived at these two. The sound of the HD-35 is booming just like a Martin should be. The Taylor 810 has new top bracing which is a HUGE improvement over the 810's made before 2003. What should I do?

just make up your mind! flip a coin!

asking for people's opinions on every little thing about guitar is detrimental to learning about the guitar in general. learn on your own! you can't always ask for help! besides, nothing we say can really change your opinion that much anyway

just pick the guitar that is right for you. you will know which one it is when you play them

didn't mean to sound harsh, im honestly trying to give you some advice

what happened to the thread?

i'd go with the 810, because i love the taylor playability, and the revoiced taylor dreds sound like cannons. plus, i like the looks of taylor's better and the finish is unbreakably awesome.

but you are the one buying it, go with what you like.

i was in almost the same situation: 814 vs. hd 28, i went with the 814, and i love it.
