agreed. i just don't see the point in flaming new people. i just don't think that way i guess. it makes me sick to see someone ask a question and other noobs driving them away by being completely rude and uncalled for.sk8rdude12000 wrote:Amen to that brothadmfollower wrote:You know, all us veterans of this great site should come together and figure out a way to comunicate with new users. Sure, we have an amazing archive of information typed out over the years but you can't go flaming every new person cause they ask a simple question. sk8rdude12000 had a great point(amazing) that everyone here should think about. Its not worth it, welcoming a visitor with threats and worthless comments.
Hopefully, dmbfan101 will return to these boards and be able to participate in what we all enjoy soo much.
Happy New Year.

thank you... i have been around here enough to see this place changing into ufck.org at time, because you have under 1000 posts everytime you say something you get told to stfu noob... On the other hand, he did ask for something that is illegal, but to tell you the truth, lets stop being assholes. He is new, he might not of known. In all honesty i ask for illegal stuff on other forums, but i don't do it here and i respect the rules. I'm sure alot of you are just like me, stop being hypocritical and just state nicley that we don't do that here, lets try and keep a community here and not a stitch and bitch session...dmfollower wrote:You know, all us veterans of this great site should come together and figure out a way to comunicate with new users. Happy New Year.I understand your point by why such a response to GSR's post? He wasn't insulting the OP at all... if anything, he supports your idea by his sarcastic remark directed towards the flaming towards the OP. Unless, of course, you were simply elabortaing GSR's point, ignore this post

ya an i think it had alot to do with the stand up realease time. About a month before stand up was out all the DMB forums picked up a lot of new memebers because ppl. where looking for a leaked version. We got alot of real "jewels" around that time and i think everyone, myself included, got real tired of new ppl. comming on asking for stuff and being dicks. But you are right, it has been getting better and i'm glad. I can't set foot on ufck anymore...wkpggrvn2001 wrote:i think its better around here now, than it has been in the pastmattinbeloit wrote:thank you... i have been around here enough to see this place changing into ufck.org at time, because you have under 1000 posts everytime you say something you get told to stfu noob... these threads are almost as fun as the popularity contest ones. someone comes, most of the time new, asks a question that the regulars look down upon and we get 5 pages of responses that are always 3 different concepts
1)you're an idiot, i'm superior, look at my post count, NOOB!
2)we need to be nicer to new people here, everyone is a regular and was condescening to the new person is an asshole
3)personal reminiscence about the question
lather, rinse and repeat

hosting the oscars is like winning the heisman trophy. no matter how you do in the ballgame, or whatever, they can't take it away from you. and even if you kill your wife and an ex-waiter, they still have a hard time taking it away from you
