That 5 string fretless peavy looks awesome. Most peavey IS shit... but the cirrus line are great basses. I played a 4 string neck through cirrus at my DJM, almost bought the thing. That looks like a very solid, cheap 5 string fretless, at the least.
As the self-proclaimed moderator of this thread, the arguing needs to be reduced to playful banter like it usually is. We're all here because of a common interest, so there's no reason for bashing each other, especially over things like personal preference. Mike and I are good buddies, so even if he posts that CTs look like they're made of sweet candy, I know he's just busting my stones, and I know how to retaliate as such. So everyone relax and let's get back to salivating over basses that we can't afford. I've really enjoyed the increased frequency of posts in OI lately, let's not ruin it, k dudes?

What do you plan on doing? Throwing it around your neck? That went out with hair metal.![]()
hahahhaha..story time
i saw a kid trying to do that once, a real short bass player with a reasonable Fender Precision (MIM), so he tries to do it, on stage, the neck end of the strap loosens somehow, and the bass hits the stage. Headstock first, and the neck snaps off, needless to say that he did it pretty hard.
