BT, sheesh guys
Sheesh guys, lay off Boyd. You try playing a violin like that so fast and full of energy for over 2 hours, and still give off such a huge amount of energy and postive vibes. Plus have such a fucking good time, you do it again and again and again and again, and it doesn't get dull or boring to you and your band mates.
Yes so what if he goes out of tune a little more, recently, so? He might be using something different, some audio pick up that doesn't allow him to hear his violin as well. Maybe he is forced to use something, and that makes him go out of tune more, and it benifits the rest of the band, so he doesn't complain or change it because he wants everyone else to sound good. Then he is so used to the old way he is set up, he hasn't been able to adjust to this new thing, so he plays it as it were in tune, and it is out of tune. Or, they could have stopped making the strings he liked, or likes the sound of these new ones but they go out of tune. There are so many reasons why it is happening with Boyd not being at fault.
Come on guys, seriously stop this. Boyd is a great guy and a very good violinist. He made violins more popular in today's generation, thanks to him being in DMB. Also, it would never be the same without Boyd, or even another violinist in his place. Then you guys complain about his clothes, but don't complain about when Dave used to be looking like he got out of bed with his PJs on.
Boyd is good, stop putting him down guys, you know he is too. Come on, can't we all just get along, love, and not think the worst of things.

Guys I played violin one time...It's hard...NO FRETS!
just kidding, that was a qoute on Nancies from some dumbass. But seriously Boyd has really improved this tour, and Boyd Bashing has seemed, as DMBFreak said, to have really diminished.

*hands you a rotten appel*
TAKE THAT!
I didn't come on here the start of the concert tour. I see little replys again and again bashing boyd. Then I made a post just saying Boyd rocks, and people posted negative things on the post. I really don't think the topic has died, and I have no clue how it was before I got here. I just felt I had to say something. Boyd Rocks!
Anyways, dmb without boyd would never be the same.

i like boyd and i think he adds a great deal to the band. DMB would not be the same without him.
usually when i make fun of boyd i am just joking around, but if i want to continue i will, because the truth is that boyd is out of tune a great deal more than what should be acceptable for a live performance of dmb's quality. not only is he classically trained, but he has been playing most of these songs for a decade. there is no excuse, unless he is honestly going deaf, which would be a tradgedy.
