Not today, but an early gift a week or two ago from my girlfriend was the M-Audio MobilePre USB audio interface. Love it. Finally, after like, 2 years off, I can record whenever the hell I want again.
Merry Christmas all.

well, i didn't score any fancy or expensive equipment but i did get an amazing book...
its called ultimate guide to guitar or something like that and is a huge hardcover with tons of photos, over 600 pages long and exteremely helpful. there are sections on the origins of different guitars, how they are made, a huge section showing you how to repair almost anything on an electric or acoustic and then like 400 pages that teach different styles and profile hundreds of manufacturers
i must say i would reccommend it to anyone

This is a little late but, my fiance bought me a Takamine eg523sc. Couldnt ask for anything more being that its my first "real" guitar. Ill post pics up soon enough. She knew i wanted one being that me and her dad would go out about once a week to guitar center to look for guitars. He got the 12 string version for christmas from his wife also. Great christmas

Hey Cor, how do you like it? I'm tentatively looking at trading in my Takamine for a 310ce or 410ce.Cor wrote:Taylor 410ce. I paid for half though.

I got a 410ce about 6 months ago. It's a pretty spectacular guitar.Jenns4Ever9501 wrote:Hey Cor, how do you like it? I'm tentatively looking at trading in my Takamine for a 310ce or 410ce.Cor wrote:Taylor 410ce. I paid for half though.
Great, rich tone, visually attractive, and the Taylor expression system is obviously one of the best out there. Easy to play...it really reinvented my interest in playing regularly as I was starting to drift before I got it.
I would recommend spending the extra cash on a 410 if you can swing it...it really blows the 310 out of the water and if you're already spending that much then it's undoubtedly worth spending a little more on the 410.

Yeah, I spent some time at GC a week or two ago, and played a bunch of Taylors, and, like I said in another thread, the lower series Taylors really kinda impressed me more than the "higher" series (i.e. 700, 800, 900 series). So yeah, I'm still shoppin'.SillyPutty wrote:I got a 410ce about 6 months ago. It's a pretty spectacular guitar.Jenns4Ever9501 wrote:Hey Cor, how do you like it?
