haha. mind control is fun! I dunno if its so worth it. unless you absoultely want it. i know i want one, but i don't think its reallly practical. i would love to have one cause they sound awesome, but i htink a nice 6 string would better suit me, and possibly you.
And yea, posts are always awesome like this. hehe. That's what were'all about!

A twelver is definitely a "nice to have", rather than a "need to have". However, if I'm in a rut playing, I'll pick up the 12 and fart around with that for a while. If you're looking for a relatively cheap 12 string that sounds great have a look at the Seagull S12+:

You can usually find them on eBay for $200-$300. Hope this helps.

12 strings are great but Get a really good 6 string first and then worry about a 12 string. If you're gonna get a 12 string go for Taylor and if you're going for a new 6 string take a look at the Martin HD-28 and HD-35.

I love 12-strings. The only reason why it might not be worth buying would be because there might only be a couple songs you can play on it (and stringing it must suck). But they sound so cool and are good. I just bought a 214 Taylor and may make a 12 string the next guitar I buy. I've played them in the stores and haven't found it much harder to play than a six string. The Nature intro to Billies sounds cool on a 12.
