...and then this really crazy improvisation of the farmaid version came instead. I like that as much as the solo of Timmy

(I think I don't sound even near to Dave, his voice is so unique(=awesome))

And it's not always a language barrier thing either. Sometimes it's just hard to convey an emotion on a message board. Things can often be interpreted as being more abrasive than they were meant to be.

Yeah, that's right too. I think for me it's a little bit of both things...

But the language barrier thing used to be much stronger when I signed up in these boards some time ago. people were always thinking I was kinda dump when I wrote messages,...or drunk.

Shame on anyone thinking you were dumb for not being fluent in the language. Maybe it's the message board limitation thing again...

One thing is for sure, your singing has improved a lot since you started posting here. You must have the record for the most covers in the shortest time too. :)

I don't understand everything I sing, too. Some of Dave's songs...man, the lyrics are sometimes so weird to me... for instance Warehouse or WWYS or TooMuch and a lot more.

But it's also cool, when you try to understand the meaning of some song, you gotta look the words up in the dictionary and you can memorize it a lot better than if you had learned it in school. Because you associate these words with a certain context. Man, that's the way you learn a language. School is just thought of givin you the basics.

It's the same with French, I hated it in school, but everytime I talked to some french-speaking Swiss or French I really, especially when it was some girl, I was really keen to learn it... (cause: french girls are awesome!!!)

With you it's the same with Spanish I suppose...

Feel free to post something here if you need help figuring out Dave's lyrics, Bo. Although even a fluent English-speaking person may have trouble with them...

A while ago, I was looking for the lyrics of Halloween (L@LC). There were only few pages of that and every version was very different. So I was thinking about that thing too...

Did you look here:

Click 'View Lyrics'. They may differ a bit on L@LC. Dunno though...
